Convert your Domèstica recipes
Domèstica is iOS-only. Get your recipes into PDF, JSON, CSV, Markdown, or .cook so you can read them on any device — including the photos, which Domèstica helpfully bundles right into the export.
100% free. Open-source parsing. No account required.
What we support
The Domèstica JSON export, with embedded base64 images.
Your full Domèstica collection. We extract every recipe and decode the base64 images so they appear in PDF and HTML outputs.
If you've zipped multiple Domèstica exports together, drop the .zip in — we'll unpack and merge every recipe.
How to export from Domèstica
Open Domèstica on your iPhone or iPad
Launch the app on whichever device holds your collection.
Open settings
Tap the gear or settings icon and look for the Export, Backup, or Share option.
Export as JSON
Choose the JSON export. Domèstica bundles your recipes — including photos as base64 — into a single .json file.
Save and upload
Save to Files, AirDrop to your Mac, or email it to yourself. Then drag the file into the upload area above.
Why convert Domèstica recipes?
Domèstica is a small, lovingly built iOS app — but iOS-only. If you switch to Android, want to read a recipe from a Windows PC, or need a printable card for the kitchen counter, the recipes are stuck inside the app.
The good news is Domèstica's JSON export is straightforward and includes your photos right in the file. That makes the move out lossless — text, structure, and images all come along.
Convert to JSON for re-import into another app, PDF for printing, Markdown for a personal cookbook, or .cook for any CookLang-compatible tool.
