How to Export from Paprika Recipe Manager
Get your .paprikarecipes file in just a few clicks.
Open Paprika on your computer
Launch the Paprika Recipe Manager app. The desktop version (Mac or Windows) gives you the best export options.
- On Mac: Open Paprika from your Applications folder
- On Windows: Open Paprika from the Start menu
- Mobile: You can also export from iOS/Android, but the desktop app is easier
Go to File > Export
In the menu bar, click File, then select Export to open the export dialog.
- Mac: File > Export Recipes...
- Windows: File > Export > Paprika Recipe Format
- iOS: Settings > Export > Email Recipes
- Android: Hamburger menu > Export
Select the recipes to export
Choose which recipes you want to export. You can select all recipes or pick specific ones.
To export your entire collection, make sure "All Recipes" is selected, or use Cmd+A (Mac) / Ctrl+A (Windows) to select all.
Save as .paprikarecipes file
Choose a location on your computer and save the file. Paprika will create a .paprikarecipes file.
The file might take a moment to create if you have a large collection. The file will include all your recipe photos too.

Come back to this page and drag your .paprikarecipes file into the upload area above, or click "Browse Files" to select it.
About Paprika Cloud Sync
If you use Paprika's Cloud Sync, make sure your recipes are fully synced before exporting. The export only includes recipes stored on the device you're exporting from.
